The occasions that I do I avoid those people like the plague because they drain my creativity.

One of the benefits of wealthy affiliate's is the fact they have a community which is not just people it is a real vibrant community. It is one of the reasons why promote wealthy affiliate's. Before you promote a product you should be looking at the value that service or product offers to your potential customer. Whether you are skilled or not you will never have enough skills to overcome the handicap promoting an inferior product.

Try to have fun and enjoy your Internet marketing journey, although I know from experience that everyone that interacts with wealthy affiliate's and ask questions and complete the training does in fact succeed. Sadly one of the biggest mistakes that newbies make is that instantly they want to measure that their success. Whilst it is important to know where you rank on Google there is what is called the Google dance. This is common to all new websites it jumps in that page 17 and then disappears for about three weeks!

Eventually a website with a couple of months under his belt will settle down and you will be able to see real progress. A lot of newbies waste a lot of time in the beginning trying to see whether page ranks. One of the best lessons I can teach from experience is that this time would be better spent writing new content.

What is more important is the fact that you have spent time to work out the navigation on your site make it as simple and clean as possible. Another classic mistake people make is to apply for affiliate links too early. There is more than one good reason for this if you choose to promote say Amazon products and you haven't made a sale in 180 days they will rescind your permissions. This is where the community comes to its own. Don't take your hair out, throw your toys out the pram give up that is a complete waste of time.

Today I wanted to share with you one of the most powerful and game changing statements my Mental Sarah Staar said

follow successful people because they tried and tweaked and tested so you can just copy” It sounds so simple, and yet it is something a lot of people overlook and I’m not quite sure why. Because a lot of people think there’s a special knack or a trip to successful Internet marketing they try and duplicate it and in doing so overcomplicate it because they don’t understand the simplicity of it. All they have to do is copy Someone who is already doing well someone who is already doing well. It’s not complicated so why make it so. The successful person has gone through the heartache of split testing, tweaking and refining so just replicate.

I don’t know why some people have this lack of confidence that makes them try to look super clever, when really the trick is to make it super simple. I have followed Sarah Staar for many years since we met at an Internet marketing meet up in London. Actually that meter was a disaster only about five people turned up but Sarah had just started affiliate marketing when she was a lady with a mission. I was lucky enough or smart enough to realise that she was a lady going places! Nothing was going to stop Sarah from making a success and today she is probably the most successful female Internet marketer in the UK. Over the years we have become firm friends and I have been to all her workshops. She has a relaxed no-nonsense get it done teaching style. When you are learning to dive, you have to learn to fin pivot, which is staying above the coral by about a foot. The reason you do it is so that when you are swimming over coral you don’t kick it and break it because coral reef is fragile and takes a long time to grow.Because the coral is so fragile they tend to teach of this exercise one foot from the bottom of the ocean. Of course when you’re diving you have these big flippers on and should you kick the bottom of the ocean you soon know about it. The water gets so murky around you can’t see and in a very short time you don’t know which way is up. That was a little bit like my first years of Internet marketing I didn’t know which end was up.

Excuse my language here, but eventually I learnt to stop kicking the shit out of the bottom. I realised that by doing this in Internet marketing I was wasting my time trying to sell hundreds of products with a $10 profit for each one.Eventually the penny dawned that I could actually promote high-end products that would give me roundabout a hundred dollars minimum profit.

Again it was Sarah you taught me how to do this, she quite literally pick me up, shook the dust of the bottom of the ocean to my swimsuit and knock some sense into me.I followed her training programme to the letter. I refuse to be diverted or think I could do it better. She had already proved to me that at the time she was way making well over $10,000 a week. Today she makes much much more than that but at the time that was about accurate.

Once I started putting her strategies into place all of my Internet marketing fell into place. Suddenly I realised that I could play with the big boys it wasn’t an exclusive club that I was excluded from. All I had to do was copy what Sarah did, in  Internet marketing – don’t reinvent the wheel!

The affiliate marketing Christmas experiment was entirely successful

A few weeks ago inside wealthy affiliate's I decided to create some training about leverage, using the power of eBay and Amazon to make money for yourself. I got a certain amount of flak for that and several members told me it was old hat and wouldn't work. Granted it is not something you'd want to do with 20 items because things sell-out and change very quickly and with the largest of items it is hard to keep a track.

However, the objective was simply to pay for a months membership and I managed it as well as making a profit of $7.23.How much time did it take me to do this well first of all it took me about two hours to select two items. It took me another two hours to put the sales page on eBay. So it took me four hours in total and I made just over $50. Granted it's not the sort of money that is going to change your life or the way you earn your money but it does show that while you are learning how to understand the intricacies of Internet marketing you can make a living. It is also possible to purchase heavily discounted products which are end of range but that doesn't take into account you have to have an investment. My way does not involve having to pay out any money at all until the money is in your PayPal account. Also if you have to put money upfront to buy goods then you may as well pay for your wealthy affiliate subscription to come out of your own pocket.

If the goods don't sell then you run the risk of being stuck with them. I won’t get rich quick on a small number of transactions, but it does work sufficiently to pay your wealthy affiliate fees each month.You don't have anything to do once the goods are sold other than purchase them from Amazon and give the shipping details to them. It has several benefits as a model to learn to make a little money, it teaches you market research you have to be reasonably certain certain that the goods will still be available when you need them. You need to ascertain the credibility of the person you're going to buy from other likely to let you down? What you don't need to learn is how the set up the sales page, copywriting skills or anything else all of that is done for you
