A lot of newbies struggling to make their first thousand dollars online emailed me to ask what are they doing wrong? What is the missing link? Quite often, it is not that anyone is doing anything wrong but rather they are overwhelmed. Making that transition to working from home with an online business full-time is a big step for many people. On the way, there are many many technical challenges. The unfortunate thing is that you feel you have to master everything!

Repeat after me 10 times " I DON'T HAVE TO MASTER EVERYTHING" In reality, all you have to learn is how to leverage other people's efforts. There is an abundance of traffic out there. I promote a lot of free resources, and a lot of other people say to me people don't want it I can't even give it away!

So what do I do to make traffic generation easy?

I concentrate purely on giving away free offers. Yes, I do occasionally promote paid offers with affiliate links, but 95% of my earnings come from giving away free offers. So let's see how I do it.

All of these free resources are in the make money online niche. There are eight billion people on the planet, let's say that only 5 billion are between the age of 18 and 70. How many of those people do you think want to have more money?

Do you think that figure might be 4.9999999 recurring billion people! I mean seriously how many people do you actually know that don't want more money? There is no shortage of people as your target market or you are targeting is the people who want more money and you want to give away something that will help them achieve it. How hard is that?

The little video I have made shows you how to do this very easily in Google mail. Once you have access to their emails you have access to everything they write about, all the promotions that they are doing and also all the webinars they are promoting.


Today the big thing about making money is collaborating on doing webinars. All you need to be able to do this is to have 350 people on your list so a lot of people are doing this all of the time. You will all have been invited to a webinar at some point or other and often you go and you will get a free presentation for an hour or an hour and a half and at the end of it someone somewhere will try and sell you a product.

Everybody wants more money

That's a given if you're not managing to connect with the people who want more money you either have the wrong offer or the wrong traffic source. Is not rocket science you should be looking from a position of strength see what offers authority figures in your niche are promoting. If you don't know how to do this then sign up for their list.

First of all find out who the movers and shakers are, go to the Warrior Forum or other forums in your niche and see who has over 10,000 posts. These people are serious in their business they have been going a long time and then either contact them or Google their name. Once you can identify who the big players are you join their list.

Follow my little video and segment those emails into one folder. Eventually, you will see the whole of their email sequence. Maybe you're not getting the power of this. Internet marketing is not rocket science, there is no need to reinvent the wheel all you have to do is follow successful people and do what they do. They have paved the way, they have tracked their conversions and they have done the hard part. They have worked out what squeeze pages work and why. They have worked out what offers convert.

Not only can you see what products they are promoting in terms of an email sequence but you can see what webinars they are promoting. You may not have noticed recently in the last 18 months or two years there's been an absolute surfeit of webinars. These are technically sales webinars, but they are marketed as training webinars. Some of them give an incredible amount of value for an hour or an hour and a half and they are definitely worth watching whilst others churn out more of the same old same old and you need to give them a miss.

Don't get confused about the purpose of these webinars. They are to make sales and make a profit and anybody who has a list of 350 people who will join a webinar can team up with someone else. Webinars convert fantastically well partially because the good ones give away very valuable information. On a really good webinar if you have 350 people you can make upwards of 150 sales.

Dominate your Niche

dominate your niche So this is where the real money is made. Often these webinars are selling high ticket office where the commission is over hundred dollars for each sale. Over the years I've heard many people say I can't outsource because I need to control or maintain my integrity. To some extent I understand that, but there are a lot of boring tasks which you can outsource very easily because they are so repetitive.

To dominate your niche, you need to outsource some of the  work and don't try to do everything yourself. It's a full-time job marketing a blog so don't make it more complicated by doing everything yourself.

This is the best series of videos available to explain how internet marketing works, it is free and a great introduction to affiliate marketing .

Both those free products have a forum and this is a great place for me to outsource my 

content writing. The people in that forum are following the training, they need more money and they are prepared to write for it. i need more content and want it focused to my needs. As far as i am concerned that is a job well done

  1. Feedly

    Use Feedly which is a RSS reader. Research blogs in your niche and add them to your feed. When new content is added, that you know something, about add a helpful comment which provides further insight and value. Don’t just write something like “great article”, this adds nothing to the discussion if your comments are helpful then the readers of the original blog will be motivated to find yours. The best way to get to know your niche and the problems within it are to find where people with a similar problem are hanging out. This can be forums but it can also be your rivals websites.

  2. Content Aggregation.

    Content aggregation is a way of getting exposure to your blog, it’s a bit like an article directory which lists posts on various topics. Whilst this is a great way of getting more traffic don’t go overboard on this as there are plenty of spam aggregating websites you should steer well clear of. The best is because it allows you to have a do follow link on your content. The downside of this site is that your content has to be top notch because it’s very difficult to get rated but even new websites can get rated 24 hours after applying.

  3. Brag about someone else’s product

    Choose a product you really like and contact the product owner and ask them if you can give them a testimonial, this can be either text or a video. You will be able to include a link back to your site and you can do this with more than one product.

  4. List A book for free on Kindle

    You can either use your own blog content for this or you can write an e-book. Write the book in word and then upload it to Kindle as a free product. That way you use the advertising leverage of Amazon. This can actually lead to further e-books which you can charge for at a later date.

  5. Become a guest blogger

    One of the problems other people have is content creation. Make contact with other relevant bloggers in your niche and ask them if you can write a complimentary article for their site in exchange for a back link to your site. Again this strategy has to be used with relevant compelling content because you will then be perceived as an expert in your field.

  6. Become an expert in your field

    Being an expert doesn’t mean that you know everything about your subject it means that you know more than the average Joe! Take every opportunity to share your knowledge. Again reach out to other bloggers and interview them. This is a great way to start because you can publish the interview which can be done over Skype on your blog. Give the person you have interviewed a copy and the chances are they will use that content as well which will link back to your site.

    Don’t get confused with duplicate content here. There are a lot of myths about your content and one of them is that Google doesn’t like it. Google classes content as duplicate when it appears more than once on one blog, publishing or republishing the content is not duplicate content. Take a list of your best content and write a short synopsis and offer that content to other bloggers with a link back to those posts. This is a similar tactic to guest blogging but doesn’t mean you have to write new content.

    Medium is a community of writers and they publish articles on a wide range of topics.

  10. Use other people’s mailing list

    You Will read other people’s mailing list and often they will have a section that includes a synopsis of recent news in a niche a round up if you like of what’s going on. Write that content for them including links to your own content.

    When you get more experienced as an interviewer consider doing a webinar with other people in your niche. Create great training and also create affiliate links to helpful products.
